The warm sunlight and the cool breeze at Chrysi brought the old population of the island back to life and we became one with it!<\/p>\n<p>Silver seagulls accompanied us and partridges welcomed us with their low flights. Cedars with their big, long routes taught us through their mutual support system ( highlighted by our fellow agronomist Emilia). Bush size cypresses, thyme and sage fascinated us with their smell!! Lilies on the beaches\u2019 sand, small purple flowers that covered the ground like paintings, shells and purple volcanic silica pleased the eyes. The chapel of Saint Nikolas on the east side of the island and the wall remnants around it denote the existence of the Minoan settlement and the later inhabitants of the island!! We muse and daydream beautiful scenes of workshops that produced the purple pigment that was used to color the glorious clothes of Kings and priests!!<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<style>@media
