{"id":31214,"date":"2023-12-26T09:56:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-26T09:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.elstea.net\/?p=31214"},"modified":"2023-12-26T10:21:33","modified_gmt":"2023-12-26T10:21:33","slug":"peace-2nd-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.elstea.net\/en\/2023\/12\/26\/peace-2nd-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"2nd Conference of the Stegi of Wellfare and Excellence: &#8220;Peace Treaty, the International Law of Virtue&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><div id=\"vc_row-69f282f84bfa2\" class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid thegem-custom-69f282f84bf929062\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12 thegem-custom-69f282f84c3147024\" ><div class=\"vc_column-inner thegem-custom-inner-69f282f84c316\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper thegem-custom-69f282f84c3147024\">\r\n\t\r\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element  thegem-vc-text thegem-custom-69f282f84c7456119\"  >\r\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<p><strong>The Association of Greek Literature and Arts for Welfare and Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>in the context of its activities aimed at promoting self-improvement and self-knowledge of human, according to the standards of the ancient Greeks, &#8220;Know Thyself&#8221; and, on the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Lausanne, organizes <strong>on Sunday 7 January 2024 (starting time: 10:00 a. m.) a Conference entitled:<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u00abPeace Treaty, the International Law of Virtue\u00bb<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Conference has the honour of being held <strong>Under the Aegis of the Region of Crete<\/strong> and will be held at the <strong>Cultural Conference Center of Heraklion<\/strong>, in the hall &#8220;Andreas &amp; Maria Kalokairinou&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The proceedings of our Conference are divided into three parts:<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>first part<\/strong>, the speakers will present the historical elements of the period of the Greek-Turkish war 1919-1922, the aspects of the Treaty of Lausanne, the phenomenon of war and the causes of war and the efforts and struggles of the people for peace. Thinkers&#8217; Requests for peace and proposals to achieve it will also be unfolded through the speeches and they will be put up for reflection.
